AmeriGo-Go’s brand of DiscoRock has been flooding the Brooklyn and NYC scene for the last year. The band flies its banner of “Dance, Pants and Romance” as a symbol of its core foundations in its music. Their tunes are ear worms and crawl inside your head, lay eggs and burst into a million sounds of DiscoRock.
The band has been playing together in different incarnations for the last ten years. Lead singer/rhythm guitarist Nathan Windsor met keyboardist/vocalist Matt Robbins at Cornell University five years ago, while drummer Teddy Lytle met bassist Sean Surdovel at Muhlenberg College. Lead guitarist Andrew Prudnikov joined the band after jamming with Windsor in 2006.
AmeriGo-Go’s upcoming debut EP, “Made in AmeriGo-Go” will be released in May 2013. They are currently in talks with Tommy Hilfiger to license their hit single “Wear You Out”.
Come to see AmeriGo-Go in Brooklyn, and wear your dance pants.
